Emergency Preparedness:

Effective emergency preparedness requires comprehensive and current plans. From security incidents, including Lockdown & Bomb Threats, to environmental emergencies, including Evacuation and Shelter-in-Place, learn how to undertake a collaborative approach. This workshop will address vital elements, such as the Incident Command System (ICS), Mass Notification, Drills & Exercises, Equipment & Supplies, and Community Resources.

Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED):

Public and private sector organizations throughout the country are adopting site and facility plan reviews to combat crime and vandalism.
In this program we will explore the concept of CPTED and how proper design and the use of the environment can positively affect human behavior as well as reduce the risk of crime. We will discuss the key principles of CPTED as well as demonstrate practical examples of how these principles can be applied in your setting. Attendees will also benefit from helpful resources.

Proactive Physical Security:

You face the daunting challenge of protecting people under increasingly difficult circumstances. This workshop will introduce an approach that is both collaborative and holistic. Emphasis will be placed on practical strategies for improving access control and communications. We will present proactive solutions, many of which can be implemented at little or no cost during these challenging economic times. Attendees will benefit greatly from a train-the-trainer environment.
